Custard Yogurt Toast

Ingredients
4 whole Bread Slices1 whole Egg
3 tablespoons Greek Yogurt
1 tablespoon Maple Syrup
8 whole Strawberries (sliced)
1⁄4 teaspoon Cinnamon
dash Turbinado Sugar
1⁄2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Directions
- Preheat toaster oven to 350°F. In a small bowl, add the egg, yogurt, vanilla, cinnamon and maple syrup. Whisk together to form a liquid custard.
- Using your fingers or the back of a spoon or fork, press into the center of the bread to indent and create a well without cutting through.
- Spoon in the custard mixture into the indented well and add your strawberries on top. Sprinkle with turbinado sugar. Cook in the toaster oven for 5 minutes.
- The custard should be set and starting to caramelize on the edges when ready. Serve with a drizzle of maple syrup (optional) and enjoy!
